My love for art began early in childhood. Encouraged by friends, family, and teachers, I explored a wide variety of mediums and techniques during my time in school. After graduating high school, I earned my B.F.A. in Art Education from Ohio University with a focus on painting and ceramics. 

In 2018, I picked up a palette of watercolors and quickly became enamored with the medium. Watercolor allowed me to explore the natural world through a more expressive lens. You’ll notice this is a common theme throughout my work. And, of course, my little Hope Smudge creature tugs on just about everyone’s heartstrings! 

I am a multi-passionate entrepreneur who loves blending artistic creativity and business. While running an Amazon-based e-commerce business, I also write, dabble in digital design, and recently began using AI to create art. I have spoken at numerous business conferences and led small-business workshops around the country. 

I have displayed work in multiple shows and am a member of the Zanesville ArtCoz group and the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project (Z.A.A.P.). My watercolor and graphite piece, “Welcome Home,” received an honorable mention in the “Welcome Home” Art Exhibit in Dresden, Ohio, in 2022 and again at the “Love” Art Show at BunkoJess Gallery in 2023. My work is displayed and available for purchase at the BunkoJess and Z.A.A.P. Galleries in Zanesville, Ohio.

I live in Ohio with my partner, kids, and multiple furbabies. When I’m not painting, you’ll find me hiking, cooking, gardening, watching birds, traveling, and posting all about it on Instagram and TikTok.
